Due to his outlandish behaviour and his tendency to quote lines from his favourite plays Tom is a bit misunderstood by his schoolmates as well as his grandfather
Tom`s best friend and mentor Miles is an over-the-hill retired actor (Vincent Spano) who lives in the neighbourhood
Although Miles has his own struggles, he tries to be supportive and lead Tom down the right path
One afternoon Tom sneaks onto the set of Teen Spy to meet his hero, Eddie Tudor
Eddie Tudor the famous (and infamously spoiled) child star of Teen Spy is making everyone`s life difficult on set
Little does Eddie know this demanding behaviour is about to get him fired
The two boys switch clothes and lives for the afternoon
But when the production suddenly moves to Miami, the boys are stuck in their assumed identities
As both boys struggle to get back to their lives, everyone involved learns a thing or two about being a family
